Relocation from Schlesische Straße in Straubing to 23 Borsigstraße, the main factory of Kurt Willig GmbH & Co. KG. In front of the hall: waste compacters for rail transportation.

Start of construction of suction and pressure vehicles for water transportation / pit emptying.
1980
Start of construction of water and spray vehicles with switchable pump system for dispensing and suctioning for export.
1980
Start of construction of the first mineral oil tankers and first presentation of mineral oil tankers (semi-trailers) at the IAA in Hanover.
1984
The factory in Straubing in 1984, after extensive extensions.
1990
Founding of Willig Fahrzeugbau GmbH in Penig near Chemnitz. Relocation to the current factory in Mühlau took place in 1992.
1992
Development of the first road-exempt cylindrical tank semi-trailer as a pressurised tank.
1994
Founding of Willig s.r.o. in Strelice (Czech Republic).
1994
Award for the fully-enclosed safety semi-trailer at the “Prix Autotec” trade show in Brno.
1995
Development of the new tank design “Pico”: narrow-track vehicle for inner city use..
1996
Presentation of the SANA tank semi-trailer and the low-noise tank construction for inner city traffic at the IAA in Hanover.
2000
Opening of the Seefeld branch near Berlin.
2001
Company expansion of Willig Fahrzeugbau GmbH in Mühlau.
2005
Innovation: Lightweight semi-trailer for extremely high loads.
2008
Kurt Willig GmbH & Co. KG expanded to outsourcing of the shell, pre-manufacture and training workshop at the new location in Hunderdorf.
2010
Innovation: Carbon axle crossbar WILLIG BC+
2011
Kurt Willing GmbH & Co. KG wins the first training prize of the city of Straubing for its outstanding commitment to vocational training.
2012
