NO LIMITS | 3 WILLIG AT HOME WILLIG IN MINIATURE: WILLIG EMPLOYEES BUILD MODEL TANKER SEMI-TRAILER WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG: DESCRIPTION OF HOW WARRANTY AND GOODWILL APPLICATIONS ARE PROCESSED Despite the highest quality standards and con- stant quality controls - mistakes can never be completely ruled out, even if they are extre- mely rare. But if and when they do occur, the cause a lot of trouble and always seem to occur at the wrong time. In order to remedy the situation quickly and reliably, WILLIG has created a structured process for warranty and goodwill applications for its customers as an additional service, so that these applications can be pro- cessed as quickly and smoothly as possible. Such warranty and goodwill applications can be submitted if damage to a new vehicle that is not older than one year (e.g. dispensing is no longer possible, etc.) is present or parts (printer, residue sensor, cables etc.) of a new vehicle are defective. Your problem-solving system from WILLIG - in 4 steps to the solution 1. If there is a problem as described above, please first contact WILLIG. Your contact persons are: - Konrad Artmann, Head of Service, Tel.: +49 (0) 9421/988-120 , artmannk@willig.eu (Service Germany); - Manfred Rothhammer, Service, Tel.: +49 (0) 9421/988-122 , rothhammerm@willig.eu (Service Rest of Europe – After Sales Service) and - Alexander Spitzer, Warehouse Tel.: +49 (0) 9421/988-168 , spitzera@willig.eu (Spare parts – After Sales Service). 2. We require a written application. This can easily be submitted online. Everything that is required can be found at: www.willig.eu -> Service -> Warranty processing. 3. After internal review of the application, you will receive immediate feedback as to whether it has been approved. 4. After approval, we immediately start to perform warranty and goodwill work. Important points to remember • The warranty and goodwill work can only be started after approval. • Without a written request the company Willig is not obliged to pay the costs. • Warranty and goodwill conditions can be found on the WILLIG website: www.willig. eu/service/gewaehrleistungsabwicklung/, our General Terms and Conditions (AGB) at: www.willig.eu/agb/. • On the Internet you will find various forms specifically for customers and service work- shops. … and we want to prove this to you at this year’s expo PetroTrans from 20 to 22 Septem- ber in Kassel. This much is already clear: You can see our new products in an exhibition area of about 450 square metres. In Hall 5 we are presenting our new semi-trailer tanker, an Ad- Blue tanker body and a classic distribution ve- hicle. On the outside we present our box-type tanker semi-trailer and our trailer for the Swe- dish military – really cool! As the demand for AdBlue continues to increa- se, we have further refined our AdBlue refuelling module. At the tail of the tanker body there is a modified, removable, insulated changing de- vice in a casing – a versatile solution, tailored to the needs of medium-sized oil distributors. The tanker semi-trailer impresses with its new, modern design and a further weight reduction. Prepare to be impressed! Our Mühlau-based employee Jens Machnitzke has a very special hobby: He has been buil- ding models for six years now. As a specialist in production, the obvious next step for him was to build a miniature tanker semi-trailer. With the full support of our factory in Mühlau, Machnitzke tackled the project “Modelling a Willig tanker semi-trailer”. First of all, all dimensions of the original tanker drawing had to be converted in the smallest detail to a scale of 1:14 in order to create appropriate templates for the individual parts. The greatest possible accuracy of the parts was thus achieved. Some parts such as axles, rims, tyres, fenders, and dished bottoms had to sourced via the internet. But the remaining parts such as the rear end of the vehicle, valve cabinets, ladders and other small parts were made by Machnitzke himself. First, the tanker, consisting of two cones and a cylinder, was as- sembled and welded. The consoles and king pins, as well as the axles and rear carri- er were then fitted to the tanker body. The remaining parts (such as the valve cabinet, dome tub, ladder and fenders) were manufac- tured and installed with a lot of precision work and painstaking care. Finally, the model was painted and glued just like a real tanker semi- trailer. EXPO PETROTRANS 2018 TRADE FAIR: WILLIG MEANS INNOVATION…
