We’ve been in the grip of trade fair fever for several weeks now and pulling out all the stops in pre- paration for this industry highlight. Even more exhibitors from Germany and ab- road are expected this year in the exhibition halls at Kassel. Our recommendation: Register online in advance to save time when checking in so you can spend more time looking at our exhibits in Hall 5 and on the grounds, have interesting discussions with our employees or simply take the opportunity to see our team again in person. AdBlue and the best logistics concepts for SME’s will be a major theme at WILLIG at this year’s expo PetroTrans. But conventional dis- tribution vehicles, which meet the individual needs of our customers in so many ways, be not be neglected either. Karlheinz Stern – Head of Sales An increasing number of diesel engines re- quire AdBlue. Demand is increasing and medium sized independent mineral oil dis- tributors need optimum transport solutions in order to stay in business as suppliers. Accor- dingly, WILLIG has developed two variants for distribution vehicles. The permanently installed solution In this case, a stainless steel tank with an ef- fective volume of 500 or 900 L is permanent- ly incorporated in the vehicle and does not change its overall appearance. The tank and measuring system can be accommodated in a separate, insulated housing or integrated in the front cabinet in the tank. Delivery calib- rated or uncalibrated via full hose is possib- le. Once the system has been calibrated, a connection to the existing measuring system electronics (Bartec 3002, 3003 Tiger, Sening Multiflow or Horn TWM) is established. It is therefore possible to share certain components such as printers or electronic instrumentation. The AdBlue tank can be filled from the bottom via an external pump and is equipped with a level indicator. The rucksack variant This is a stainless steel tank with around 500 or 900 litres of effective volume that can be repla- ced with forklift or pallet stacker at the rear of the vehicle, which has a corresponding pick-up device, supply connections and extensible un- derrun protection. The special advantage of this solution: In contrast to the permanently installed variant, no sacrifices in effective load have to be accepted when transporting pure fuel oil or diesel. In addition, the “AdBlue Rucksack” can be used on several vehicles and transferred bet- ween different locations. The other performance features are similar to the fixed version: Connection to the measuring elec- tronics for the shared use of the printer (only with Multiflow), bottom filling, whereby the pump can either be permanently integrated the system or supplied externally (separately), fill level indicator on tank and calibrated or non-calibrated measu- ring system with full hose delivery.
